Destined to join the fray

Bursting at the seams are colours and shapes they can't teach,
I stretch out my arms, trying so desperately to reach one more stretch and..
my dream is preached.
By the inevitable wake.
Like a snake to prey I am caught, destined to join the fray
of the human race that endlessly pray.
